My two obsessions, when it comes to media and mental stimulation are Podcasts and TED talks. I am hardly uncovering something groundbreaking. TED has 6.5 million youtube subscribers , but whether you’re discovering them for the first time, you haven’t tuned in for a while, or you just like to share TED favourites, here are a few of mine.
We haven’t had a television in our home nearly a year now. We packed up our possessions in Australia at the start April last year, they sat on a boat for three months, and by the time they arrived, we realised we didn’t miss it, didn’t need it, and hey, who has time to sit watching TV when you are a Parent right? You can read more about that here.
From selling all your possessions, embracing vulnerability, practicing daily gratitude, or learning how video games and rejection can help you. I challenge you to watch these without walking away feeling inspired!
How packing up and giving away your unwanted possessions, can give you so much more
Turning everything you believe about vulnerability on it’s head.
Why Happiness is dependent on gratitude.
Computer game playing that will prolong your life span? Where do i sign up.
Rejection, not a bad thing.
Learning about shame.
Taking stress, and making it work for you.
Two things I love: personal recommendations and discussing something I’ve enjoyed with someone else. So please share a TED talk you enjoy below, and tell me what watching these made you think. Happy viewing x
