I bought intrepid bebe a few clothes which I thought would be nice comfy options of travels, and work well as layers when transiting between variable climates. However, I bought size 2-3 and they are huge, the trousers are literally up to her armpits if i hold them against her. I am absolutely going to be one of those parents who’s child has one blazer from seven until they leave school, and permanently looks swamped. So I am debating hanging onto them until she does grown into them, or trading them for the next size down, which I think would be 18-24 months. Some how, by the time the reach two we can all agree there’s no need to age them by month.
Anyhow, here’s what I got. i have pulled a few photos from the website, because I am neither a photographer nor a fashionista. But have added in a couple of my own pics too. i bet you can barely tell which is which 😉
I bought them from H & M, as I find their kids stuff good value, and I like the big variety, especially the more neutral options for girls (it’s not all fluro pink at least). I tend to mix her wardrobe with bit from there, some handmade things from online boutiques (instagram, etsy and the like), and a few Australian brands like Cotton On, and Bonds.
I like the design, and being dark colour makes it practical, plus it was feminine without being pastel. I love navy blue, so I’m sure that comes into the choices too. I also bought the grey floral version for the same price, which was eight pounds. Again I likes the neutral colour palette, but I wouldn’t be told “isn’t he handsome”, which happens a lot when I put her grey/black, because her hair is short-it infuriates me!
I loved the 90’s throwback, probably because I’m pretty sure i had one similar. It has sweet heart detailing on the zip and ruching at the back. I think it’ll be really handy for an extra layer when we fly etc.
These gorgeous joggers only go up to aged town unfortunately, otherwise I would definitely have ordered a pair. I actually thought they were koi carp when I first saw them, but actually they’re swallows again-i’m sensing a theme!
I think this shirt is my favourite, probably because I would love one like it. It has lace detail on the shoulders and all across the top at the back. And at just under eight pounds its a bargain.
They looked and are so cosy. Fleece won’t win any prizes for fashion, but they give her plenty of room to move, and can be a good extra layer while it’s chilly.
